◉ PRODUCT SPECIFICATION
This 0.025 mm pure nickel wire in Ni200 (UNS N02200), with Ni201 (UNS N02201) available, is drawn to tight tolerance on an ISO 9001-certified nickel-only line with 10,000 t/yr capacity. At micro scale, gauge control and surface condition decide how the wire behaves in mesh, sensors and precision assemblies — every spool is checked per batch, with 0.096 μΩ·m resistivity and a clean, bright surface ready for weaving or winding.
Pure nickel grades are ordered by trade name, UNS number or GB designation, and the numbers must match: Ni200 = UNS N02200 (Ni ≥99.2%, C ≤0.15%), Ni201 = UNS N02201 (Ni ≥99.0%, C ≤0.02%), while N4 and N6 are the GB-grade equivalents (N4 Ni+Co ≥99.9%, N6 ≥99.5%). Specify the grade your drawing calls for — this page supplies Ni200 (UNS N02200) as standard and Ni201 (UNS N02201) for low-carbon service — so the mill certificate matches your specification without cross-grade confusion.
UNS N02200 is the unified designation for Ni200 — commercial-purity nickel with Ni ≥99.2% and carbon ≤0.15%. Ordering by UNS number removes ambiguity across suppliers and specs, because the designation fixes composition limits independently of trade names. Ni201, by contrast, is UNS N02201 with carbon capped at 0.02% for sensitization-free service. This page supplies both, with composition verified per batch against the catalog.
At 0.025 mm, diameter tolerance and surface finish dominate performance — a few microns of drift changes mesh opening size and winding tension. The wire is drawn on our nickel-only line and checked per batch for diameter, ovality and surface condition, so mesh weavers and coil winders receive a consistent cross-section spool after spool.
Soft (annealed) wire offers maximum ductility for tight weaving and forming; 1/2 hard balances stiffness with formability; hard wire holds shape for spring and contact applications. Temper is confirmed with your order, and mechanical properties are reported per batch on request.
0.025 mm nickel wire serves filtration and shielding mesh, thermocouple and sensor elements, and fine mechanical parts where corrosion resistance and ductility matter. Its 1435-1446 °C melting range and 358 °C Curie point frame the thermal envelope; confirm your service temperature and we will match grade and temper.
Price follows grade: Ni200 340-380 / Ni201 350-390 USD/kg FOB; smaller diameters and custom tolerances are quoted per drawing.
Dimensions and material per ASTM B164 (Nickel Rod, Bar and Wire) and GB/T 21653-2008 (Nickel and Nickel Alloy Wire); export documentation per EN 10204 3.1.
Material data on this page follows ASTM B164 and GB/T 21653-2008; physical-property guidance references the ASM Specialty Handbook: Nickel, Cobalt, and Their Alloys (ASM International) and Nickel Institute application guidance; batch-level composition and geometry are verified against mill test certificates (EN 10204 3.1) and in-house inspection records.
Micro wire is wound on spools and packed in carton boxes, or supplied as coils with polybag protection. Lead time: 3-7 days for stock and small orders, 7-15 days for standard production, 15-30 days for complex custom work per drawing.
UNS N02200 is the unified designation for Ni200 (Ni ≥99.2%, C ≤0.15%); Ni201 is UNS N02201 with 0.02% max carbon. Ordering by UNS number fixes composition across suppliers.
Tolerance is locked against your drawing before drawing and checked per batch — confirm your requirement and we will hold it.
Ni200 is standard; choose low-carbon Ni201 where the wire sees elevated temperature in service, to avoid carbide precipitation.
Soft (annealed), 1/2 hard and hard are available — soft for weaving and forming, harder tempers for spring and contact parts.
EN 10204 3.1 mill certificates, batch records and inspection reports are available on request for incoming inspection.
MOQ is 1 kg for micro wire (0.025 mm) and 5 kg for standard wire; delivery is 3-7 days for stock and small orders, 7-15 days for standard production, and 15-30 days for complex custom work per drawing.
