◉ PRODUCT SPECIFICATION

Overview

ERNiFeCr-2 is used for TIG welding alloys 718, 706, and X-750. It is mainly used for welding high strength aircraft components and liquid rocket components involving cryogenic temperatures. High heat input processes, such as MIG welding, often result in micro fissuring. The weld metal is age hardenable and has mechanical properties comparable to those of the base metals. The filler metal can be used with both the gas metal arc and gas tungsten arc processes.ERNiFeCr-2    shows good mechanical properties like tensile strength, fatigue strength and creeps rupture strength. This product shows high resistance to chloride and sulphide stress corrosion cracking. This MIG and TIG welding wire offer immune to temperatures. This wire has good welding characteristics.

Corrosion Resistance

Corrosion can be an unrelenting foe in various industrial settings. ErNiFeCr-2’s outstanding corrosion resistance is a testament to its longevity and reliability, even in highly corrosive conditions. This attribute is paramount in marine and chemical processing applications.

High-Temperature Performance

ErNiFeCr-2 filler metal is well-suited for high-temperature applications in various industries, including power generation, heat treatment, and metal refining. The welds produced with this filler metal can withstand prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures without significant loss of mechanical strength or corrosion resistance.

Heat treatment

ERNiFeCr-2 does not require any heat treatment. However, controlling the interpass temperature during welding is essential to prevent cracking and distortion.
