Hastelloy alloy is one of the most widely used anti-corrosion nickel-based alloys in the global chemical industry, famous for its excellent resistance to uniform corrosion, pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. The mainstream grades including Hastelloy C276, C22 and B3 have stable adaptability to almost all harsh chemical medium environments.
Hastelloy alloy contains high content of molybdenum and chromium elements, which can form a dense and stable protective oxide film on the metal surface. This unique feature enables Hastelloy products to operate stably for a long time in concentrated sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid mixed solution, chlorine-containing corrosive gas and high-temperature chemical reaction environments. It is widely manufactured into chemical reactor internals, heat exchanger tubes, acid-resistant pipeline fittings, chemical pump and valve components.
Compared with other nickel alloys, Hastelloy alloy has more outstanding resistance to reducing acid corrosion and mixed medium corrosion. It is the preferred material for key equipment in fine chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical chemical and waste gas and waste liquid treatment projects.
